At the School of Modern Skills, our Middle and High School Boys Division (Grades 5-12) is committed to developing young Emirati men into confident learners, responsible citizens, and principled leaders. Rooted in Islamic values and Emirati identity, our holistic program prepares boys not only for academic success but also for meaningful contributions to the UAE?s future and the global community.
This division emphasizes accountability, structured thinking, and personal responsibility.
Our academic program blends California State Standards, NGSS for Science, and AERO frameworks with UAE Ministry of Education requirements. Boys gain mastery in English, Arabic, Mathematics, and Sciences, while also engaging deeply in Islamic Education, ICT, Physical Education, and Social Studies. In high school, students have access to electives, Advanced Placements courses, GPA, and official transcripts that are recognized by universities in the UAE and abroad.
The program also emphasizes national identity, Islamic values, and Emirati heritage, ensuring that students grow with cultural pride while preparing to succeed globally. Partnerships with local universities and industries connect classroom learning to career pathways, preparing boys to thrive in Dubai?s knowledge-based economy.
Beyond academics, boys develop the 21st-century skills of creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. They engage in inquiry-based learning, STEM challenges, design-thinking projects, robotics, coding, and debates that encourage innovation and problem-solving.
The program also strengthens bilingualism in English and Arabic, enabling students to represent themselves-and the UAE-confidently both locally and internationally. These future-focused skills align with Dubai Vision 2030 and prepare boys for leadership in sustainability, smart city development, and entrepreneurship.
Character development is central to our mission. Through clear behavior expectations, boys are guided to practice reflection, responsibility, and resilience. Leadership opportunities such as student council, peer mentoring, and service projects encourage accountability and initiative. At the same time, Emirati cultural values-hospitality, generosity, respect for elders, and service to the community-are emphasized daily, helping students grow into young men of integrity and cultural pride. This focus ensures that academic excellence is matched with ethical development and strong identity.
Structured college counseling ensures students are well-prepared for university admissions. The program includes academic pathway planning, career exploration, scholarship guidance, and application preparation. Graduates leave equipped with strong academic profiles and leadership portfolios.
